He Is Fine. Everything Is Fine. This Is Fine.

Against a weathered cream background, a black cat stares directly at you with the kind of golden-eyed intensity that has seen things — many things — and processed none of them particularly well. A cigarette hangs from the corner of his mouth, smoke curling upward in a lazy spiral. Above him, in scratchy hand-lettered text: I'M FINE. He is not fine. You know he is not fine. He knows you know. And yet here we are. Rendered in a thick, expressive oil style with bold impasto brushwork, rich textural depth, and a palette of deep black, warm cream, and smoky grey, this piece is the most relatable thing you will ever hang on a wall — and the first thing every single guest will photograph.
