The Bird Started It. The Cat Is Choosing Peace.

Wild whiskers in every direction. Enormous green eyes radiating a very specific kind of patience. And perched on top of it all — one tiny blue bird, singing its heart out, completely unbothered by the situation. Music notes drift upward. The cat does not move. This is, apparently, fine. Rendered in a loose, expressive hand-drawn sketch style on warm linen, this piece is equal parts portrait and comedy, and entirely impossible not to smile at.
