He Sat at the Top of Time and Watched the Stars Go By.

A giant clock face rises from the bottom of the frame like a moon of its own — white, luminous, marked with Roman numerals, its hands pointing somewhere between now and later. At the very top, a small white figure sits in a chair, perfectly still, looking up. Above him, a crescent moon glows gold. White birds drift through the deep teal sky. A shooting star crosses the upper left corner. The background is the color of deep water at night — dark teal, flecked with gold and silver, the kind of sky that makes you feel very small and very awake at the same time. Rendered in a rich, atmospheric mixed-media style with fine texture, luminous contrast, and a palette of deep teal, warm gold, and pure white, this piece is philosophical, beautiful, and completely impossible to stop thinking about.
