Someone Put the Star on Top. It Was the Cat. It Was Always Going to Be the Cat.

A black kitten scales a glowing, ornament-laden Christmas tree — one determined paw stretched toward the golden star at the top, tail curled with absolute confidence. Painted in a richly layered oil painting style with luminous golden impasto brushwork, deep evergreen tones, and the warm glow of fairy lights radiating through the background, this piece is equal parts heartwarming and hilarious. The kind of art that belongs in a holiday home that takes the season seriously — and its cat even more so.
