They’re Going Somewhere. Nobody Knows Where. That’s the Point.

Nine striped fish move in loose formation across a flat olive-green ground, each one rendered in bold black-and-white stripes with a single dark eye and a small square of shadow beneath — simple, graphic, and completely alive. The composition has the confident repetition of folk art pattern-making and the dry wit of a piece that knows exactly how much it needs to say. Whether read as a school of fish, a fleet, or a procession of something more philosophical, this canvas brings warmth, texture, and a quietly wonderful sense of humor to any wall it lands on.
