They Have Been on This Pedestal for a While. They Have No Plans to Leave. They Have Seen the Fish Bones. They Are Fine.

On a field of deep tangerine orange, scattered with green polka dots and the floating skeletons of fish that have already made their contribution, two black cats stand on a green Roman column and regard the world with the particular composure of creatures who have decided, at some point long ago, that this is their room now. Their eyes are green. Their necks are architectural. Their whiskers extend into the air with the authority of antennae receiving signals from somewhere more interesting than here. The style is vintage American cartoon at its most committed — the swooping lines, the flat color, the slightly unsettling charm of a 1950s illustrated character who is definitely up to something. Orange, black, and green. The classic combination, liberated from October and given a permanent address on your wall.

Why You'll Love It

• Retro spooky-cute at peak vintage cartoon style — two elongated black cats with glowing green eyes, dramatic whiskers, and curling tails stand atop a green Roman column against a vivid tangerine orange background scattered with polka dots and floating fish bones; the aesthetic is 1950s American gothic cartoon at its most irresistible
• Halloween palette that works all year — deep orange, matte black, and kelly green is a combination with serious visual authority; bold enough to anchor a room, stylish enough to never read as seasonal decoration
• Witchy, quirky, and genuinely original — this piece sits at the intersection of Charles Addams, vintage Halloween kitsch, and mid-century pop art; the kind of art that announces a personality the moment it goes on the wall
• HD archival printing on artist-grade canvas — vivid tangerine orange, deep matte black, and graphic green reproduced with fade-resistant, gallery-quality precision at every size
• Natural wood float frame available — ready to hang straight out of the box, no extra hardware needed
• Made & shipped in the USA — printed on demand, crafted with care

"They did not choose the pedestal. The pedestal was simply the tallest thing available, and they have standards. The fish bones are not their fault. Probably."
