The Sofa Is His. The Martini Is Beside Him. The Evening Is Decided.

A sleek black cat sprawls across a deep green sofa with the total physical commitment of someone who has found the exact right position and intends to hold it indefinitely. A martini sits on the side table. The walls are vivid pink. The cat is aware of all of this and finds it entirely satisfactory. Painted in a bold, color-forward style with the flat planes and saturated palette of Fauvist painting — Matisse energy, cat subject, impeccable taste.

Why You'll Love It

• Color as a statement — deep green, vivid pink, and matte black in flat Fauvist planes; this piece doesn’t decorate a room, it transforms one, and it does it with the confidence of a cat who has already claimed the best seat
• Fauvist oil painting style — bold saturated color blocks, expressive brushwork, and a compositional simplicity that carries the visual weight of a large-format original; this is serious art wearing a very good joke
• The martini is load-bearing — without it, this is a painting of a cat on a sofa; with it, this is a lifestyle statement, a mood board, and a personality test all in one frame
• HD archival printing on artist-grade canvas — deep forest green, vivid coral pink, and matte black rendered with bold, fade-resistant clarity
• Natural wood frame available — clean float frame finish, ready to hang out of the box
• Made & shipped in the USA — printed on demand, crafted with care
• 9 sizes available — from 8x12" accent to 34x51" statement piece

Perfect For

• Living rooms, home bars, and any bold interior that wants art with genuine color confidence and a quietly excellent sense of humor
• Cat lovers, contemporary art collectors, Matisse fans, and anyone whose aesthetic runs warm, saturated, and completely unapologetic
• A housewarming or birthday gift for the person whose home is already a color statement and whose cat is already the main character

"He selected the sofa color himself. He approved the martini placement. The pink walls were a compromise and he has made his peace with it."
