The Dog Is Very Large. The Cat Is Very Small. They Have Reached an Understanding.

There is a particular kind of friendship that does not require explanation or equal footing. The dog is enormous, droopy-eared, looking at the floor in the way of someone who has considered many things and arrived at a state of gentle acceptance. The cat is looking up. That is enough. The lines are simple. The feeling is not.

Why You'll Love It

• Sketch minimalism with emotional precision — warm cream ground, loose expressive line, two creatures and the exact amount of space between them that makes the whole thing work; nothing added, nothing needed
• The size difference is the whole story — one enormous, one tiny, both completely at ease; this is not a joke about scale, it is an observation about the kind of companionship that does not require balance to be real
• Works in any room, next to anything — the palette is cream and warm grey; the mood is quiet and a little funny; it belongs wherever the light is soft and the day does not ask too much
• HD archival printing on artist-grade canvas — vivid, fade-resistant clarity on every print
• Natural wood frame available — ready to hang out of the box
• Made & shipped in the USA — printed on demand, crafted with care
• 9 sizes available — from 8x12" accent to 34x51" statement piece

• Living rooms, bedrooms, and any space that wants warmth delivered quietly, without making a production of it
• A gift for the household with a dog and a cat, or anyone who has ever been the large one in a small friendship, or the small one in a large one
